To get the most out of your candle:

First burn: Allow the wax to melt to the edges (about 2 hours) to prevent tunneling.
Trim the wick: Keep wick trimmed to 5mm before each use for a clean burn.
Burn time: Don't burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Safety: Keep away from drafts, children, and pets.
Reuse: Once finished, clean the vessel and repurpose it!

Born from a love of botanicals and a desire to bring calm into everyday moments.

Where It All Began

The Calm Flame was born in a small kitchen in Mumbai, where the founder, Priya, discovered the transformative power of scent during a particularly challenging time in her life.

After years of working in the fast-paced corporate world, she found solace in the ancient Indian practice of using botanicals for wellness. What started as a personal ritual of making candles for herself soon became a calling to share this calm with others.

Rooted in Heritage

Every candle we create is infused with the rich botanical heritage of India — jasmine from Tamil Nadu, sandalwood from Karnataka, rose from Rajasthan. We work directly with local farmers and distillers who have been perfecting their craft for generations.

Everything you need to know about our candles, shipping, and more.

Our standard 200g candles have an approximate burn time of 40-45 hours when properly maintained. Larger sizes burn proportionally longer. Always trim your wick to 5mm before each use for optimal burn time.

Our candles are made with natural soy wax and pure essential oils, which are generally considered safe around pets. However, some essential oils can be harmful to certain animals. We recommend keeping candles out of reach and ensuring good ventilation. If you have birds, we suggest extra caution as they are more sensitive to airborne particles.

Currently, we only ship within India. We're working on expanding to international markets soon. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when we launch international shipping!

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for unused, unopened products in their original packaging. If your candle arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photos and we'll send a replacement. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on lit or used candles.

Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the fragrance and prevent discoloration. Keep the lid on when not in use. Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin, so avoid storing in hot areas.

Absolutely! All our products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. We never test on animals and use no animal-derived ingredients. Our packaging is also plastic-free and environmentally friendly.
